Mount Rinjani Trek Summit 3726M 2 Days 1 Night

Itinerary: Mount Rinjani Trek Summit, 2 days, 1 night

Arrival day: We will pick you up at the Lombok Island service location and transfer you to the hotel in Senaru.

Day 1 Trek: Breakfast is at 7:15 a.m. then transfer to Sembalun. Thereafter, we will register at the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun.
Trekking starts in the village of Sembalun around 8:00 a.m. We start with a gentle climb through an open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, we will reach post 1 (1300 m) and another 40 minutes to post 2 (1500 m). We will proceed to Pos 3 (1800 m) and have lunch here.
After lunch and rest, we will go to the Sembalun crater rim (2639 m). It takes 3 hours, including a prolonged, steep climb. We will camp for the night on the crater rim. Views of the sunrise and sunset are available for us to enjoy.

Day 2 Trek: We wake up around 2:00 a.m. with a hot drink and a light breakfast under the cover of darkness. We will start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 a.m. We begin with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly straightforward but longer one. The final approach involves climbing steep volcanic screes.

At 6:00 a.m., we can reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise and a panoramic view of Lombok Island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.

Thereafter, we will descend into the crater rim of Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then, we will continue our journey to the village of Sembalun, which takes approximately 5 hours, and then we will drop you off at your next destination.
